We are expecting very strong conformation with plenty of substance. Tons of natural ability with retrieves and recovering game with both Sire and Dam. Royal and Jager are incredibly powerful in water, and efficient in their forest search. They both possess extremely calm characters, intelligence and predator sharpness. Nose sensitivity is keen in each. Both are exceptional and actively blood tracking, Jager in Maine and Royal in Bucks County PA.

Breeding Philosophy
The goal of the breeding program at Vom Einzelganger is to produce true Deutsch Kurzhaars. In order to do this, we believe proper genetics and raw natural ability is the foundation. We also believe balanced, calm character and cooperation are essential. A calm, confident character tells you a great deal. Confidence is key for a dog's search, predator sharpness and much more. A balanced character with a clear mind can can live peacefully with small animals, but also hunt varmint that evening. Intelligence is essential for problem solving skills and hunting success. We believe in breeding and training Kurzhaars that are willing to work for their handler and are a true asset in a range of hunting tasks. We do not cut corners on this. We expect our dogs to perform powerful water searches in cold water, track wounded deer precisely, hunt upland birds through dynamic cover and dispatch predators without hesitation.
